I taught myself to play guitar back in 1983 by playing AC/DC while attending university.
After an extended hiatus, I've started taking lessons & playing again. My tastes have
changed over the years, from Rush & Black Sabbath in high-school to a more mellow
sound today. I still enjoy the classics from the 60s & 70s, some new-wave & glam from
the 80s, & grunge ala 90s. Now I mainly listen to the women above. Sheryl's band can
really crank some easy blues, Madonna has certainly matured, Alanis is so filled with
angst, & Enya's music is so beautiful. Funny it is, that I disliked mushrooms on pizza
20 years ago. Who would have guessed I would change like this? Pink Floyd, AC/DC,
& ZZ Top are still my favorite bands though. I realize I've a long way to go...
