I first played STARGATE the year it was released in my sophomore year of high-school.
I'd spend all my waking hours cramming silver-slugs into the cabinet down at the bar.
The graphics were crisp & gameplay fast & ferocious.. I was definately hooked!
My personal best was over 3,000,000 points had in about 3 hours at Hangar-18 in Anchorage, AK.
Once you hit the zone, there's just no stopping you... playing like an automaton.

Now I have a machine of my very own & an endless supply of quarters.
Parts & service will be difficult to find so I plan on lots of component-level troubleshooting.
The electronics are antiquated to the point that I should be able to do the work myself.
I plan to modify the machine with a pair of high-velocity cooling fans & an amplified sound-system.

I may venture into other machines such as ROBOTRON, Pac-Man, Galaga, & Rally-X.
There's simply no substitue for the games of yesteryear.
You must experience the intensity of STARGATE for yourself!
I promise you'll never go back to Scrabble or Monopoly again.. hehe =)
